FOX MEADOW MIDDLE SCHOOL IS A UNIFORM SCHOOL.

BOTTOMS (SOLID COLOR: TAN OR BLACK)

Tan or black slacks, finger-tip length shorts, capri pants or uniform style "skort." No black or khaki jeans.

Pants can have a maximum of four pockets regardless of the size. (Note: the additional watch pocket on jeans is acceptable.) No side pockets are allowed. Per district policy, "sagging" is not allowed. Full length pants may not be rolled up to shorten the length. Black stitching on black pants, khaki stitching on khaki pants. No embellishments on the pockets. No cut-off shorts. No pants with holes. No leggings/tights worn as pants.

Uniform dress can be purchased at Kohl's, Target, Wal-Mart and Goodwill.

TOPS (SOLID COLOR: WHITE, BLACK, OR RED)

White, black or a red Fox Meadow logo shirt purchased from the school. Shirts are to be polo style with two or three buttons.

All tops must be tucked in. No logos are acceptable on tops except the "FMMS" logo appearing on our red shirts.

Only one polo shirt can be worn at a time. One black or white crewneck, short or long sleeve T-shirt or turtleneck may also be worn under the polo shirts.

SECOND LAYER TOPS (SOLID COLOR: WHITE, BLACK, OR RED)

White, black or (school purchased) red Fox Meadow logo crewneck/pullover sweatshirt. Undershirts must be in solid black or solid white with no writing that may show through the outer layer. No lace or bright colored undershirts allowed to be worn under polo shirts.

FOOTWEAR
Safe footwear is required at all times. No flip-flops, house shoes/slippers or shoes with wheels. Sandals must have a heel strap. Any knee high boots or knee high tennis shoes must be worn under the pants.

DRESS NOT ALLOWED (This list is not all-inclusive and the final decision on whether or not clothing or footwear violates FMMS uniform guidelines is made by a school administrator.)

• Cargo pants/skirts or painter/carpenter styles
• Skirts
• Athletic style shorts/clothing (except in physical education classes or after school sports/activities approved by sponsor)
• Oversized or undersized tops or pants
• Neckwear (ties, scarves) and gloves
• Hooded sweatshirts (hoodies)
• Sunglasses and hats cannot be worn in the building
• All other dress/attire that violate School Board Policy (JICA).

SPIRIT DAY ATTIRE
On scheduled Spirit Days, students can wear blue jeans with any Fox Meadow associated T-shirt or polo shirt (this includes team or athletic program t-shirts or those received from participating in DARE, AAYLC, Choir, or other Fox Meadow activities).
