Fox Meadow promotes an active learning partnership between students & teachers, cultivating a well balanced education including multi layered student engagement & rigorous activities to prepare all students for success in high school, post secondary education, & their careers.

$1 Jersey Day - Thursday, October 30th

Students who pay $1 on Thursday, October 30th, will be allowed to wear their favorite sports team jersey or t-shirt with blue jeans.

The funds collected from this even will be used to support our PBS committee (Positive Behavior Support - which operates on the premise that recognizing and rewarding positive behavior is much more effective than punishing negative behavior.) PBS also sponsors and stocks the popular student STARbuck store. (STAR=Safety, Teamwork, Academics, Respect) Students earn STARbucks as a reward for their positive behavior. They can redeem STARbucks for fun items at the STARbuck store.

As always, students must meet the district dress code requirements.  Students who do not wish to participate in Jersey Day are required to come to school in their Fox Meadow uniform.  Please call 527-7100 if you have any questions.

Have you seen the Federal Impact Aid Form?

The State of Colorado has a number of federal properties that are exempt from certain local and state taxes. D2 loses tax revenue because these properties are not taxed. We are allowed to recoup some of these tax dollars when we have children whose parents serve in the military or are employed on federal property. Returning this form to your child's school helps support all students and the quality instruction they receive. Our goal for the Impact aid form is 100%, so please fill out the information and return it back to your school as soon as possible, regardless of where you work or live (on government property or not).

Fox Meadow Organization System

All Fox Meadow students are required to carry a three-inch, white binder to every class. The binder will be organized in a similar fashion for all students. In order to ensure uniformity, the binder must be purchased in the front office at school. (The cost will be $3.00.) All other materials (loose-leaf paper, dividers, pencil pouch, writing implements, etc.) must be purchased according to the supply list which is available on our website or at the school.  Families without funds to purchase materials can speak to a school counselor about obtaining the necessary materials.  Having a school-wide organization system will provide a common way to organize notes, homework, and other school materials.  It also helps ensure that students come to class everyday prepared for learning.  Students who come to class without a binder could be subject to behavioral consequences.  The binder system has proven to be an effective way to organize Fox Meadow students and increase student achievement. Please call the Fox Meadow office if you have any questions.

HSD2 schools will have later start and dismissal times for the 2014-2015 school year.

Please view the letter from Mr. Spencer for more information and specific times.
